What is an ePortfolio?

Definition:

“An e-portfolio is a learner-created collection of digital items: ideas, evidence, reflections, feedback, which presents a selected audience with evidence of a person’s learning and/or ability.” (JISC, 2009)

An example of an ePortfolio you may already have.

If you are on Facebook, Bebo or Myspace, you actually have a portfolio, it’s your Social ePortfolio. You are sharing with your friends and family members what’s happening in your life or what cool stuff you did today, or what you are thinking.

With the portfolio you are setting up for this course, it is your Professional Portfolio. You are putting together things you have done at school or anything you would have done any where from which you learnt something.
